Ghyll Lodge is a modern and spacious lodge providing a welcoming retreat at White Cross Bay on the shores of Lake Windermere, sleeping up to 5 guests, well-appointed, modern, bright and airy with a pitched ceiling and skylights. Enjoy a relaxing stay in the open-plan living space, with plush modern seating to relax and unwind in front of the TV, perhaps whilst preparing your evening meal and the open space means everyone can chat together and get involved. Wander outside, and explore the large deck with private hot tub, complete with outdoor furniture, table and chairs, perfect for dining al fresco then step into the hot tub, and relax your aches and pains away after a day exploring the fells and villages. Ghyll Lodge is found on a quiet cul-de-sac location toward the rear of the park, and is a short walk from the main clubhouse with ‘The Boathouse’ bar and restaurant, takeaway, beer garden, picnic area. There’s also a children’s play area, multi-purpose games area, charming woodland walks, and of course the marina and jetties with fabulous lake views. White Cross Bay is in a fabulous location, on the shores of Lake Windermere, with views across the water and to the surrounding fells, you are literally in the heart of the Lake District and Ghyll is just a short walk to the water’s edge. Note: Some facilities on the park are subject to extra cost such as use of the pool, entertainment, bar and restaurant. 500 yards up the main A591 is Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre, with its gardens, house, café, restaurant, walks, boats, adventure playground and Tree Top Trek: there’s lots to do! You’re also just two miles from Windermere village with shops, cafes and pubs, and three miles from Bowness boat landings, where the cruisers come in. Bowness is a cosmopolitan village with award-winning restaurants and pubs and quirky shops, a cinema and the World of Beatrix Potter attraction. three miles in the other direction from Ghyll Lodge, head to Ambleside, another bustling town with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and of course, walks in every direction. Two miles north on the A592 is the pretty village of Troutbeck, home to two traditional pubs with log fires: the Queens Head and the Mortal man; Holehird Gardens, and the National Trust’s Townend House. Two bedrooms: 1 x super-king with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x family room with double and single. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire, outdoor decking and sitting area. A barbecue slab is provided, please bring your own BBQ and dispose of responsibly. Parking for two cars.

Full central heating with electric fire. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, Smart TV, iPod dock, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking outside. Decking with outdoor furniture. Hot Tub - to be used between 10am and 10pm only. Dog-friendly. Please note, charging of electric vehicles is not permitted in this lodge, The nearest charging point can be found at Booths Supermarket in Windermere. Sorry, no smoking. Shop on site: 500 yards, village shop. Pub on site 500 yards, village shop 2 miles, village pub 2 miles. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome.
