The Hot Tub

    Location

    Reviews

    Great House. Great Time.

I booked Gwengraig as part of my early 40th birthday celebration for myself and five friends. We were booked in for rafting in Bala one afternoon but I wanted the rest of our time to be relaxed and easy-going. With the option of card games round the large dining table, competing in the sports room, or taking in the views whilst relaxing in the hot tub; I think I got it absolutely spot on. The house was meticulously clean (aside from a few used tissues in the drawer of the 2nd double room) and it seemed that if we wanted to cater for 30 guests then we could have. Crockery, pots and pans were plentiful and the dishwasher was a godsend. The location is perfect for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, but not so remote that it feels isolated or unsafe. Getting friends together for short breaks is so difficult these days, however if I could, I would come back here time and time again. My one addition is that we could have done with a small down light overlooking the hot tub for when the sun went down.
