Located on Welsh/English border. These three very attractive detached holiday lodges (refs W43690, W43691 and W43692) are set together in a small cluster in the most peaceful location on the edge of Llangunllo near Knighton. The lodges boast their own private hot tubs and sit in 2 acres of grounds. The original Mill Race wet area is inside the grounds, which may be wet or dry depending on the weather. Knighton is an area best known for its association with Offa’s Dyke, but due to the town being partly in Wales and partly in Shropshire, there are many nearby attractions, including, in Wales, the red kite feeding station, the Judges Lodgings, Spaceguard Centre, Elan Valley and Powys Castle. In Shropshire, nearby places include The Secret Hills Discovery Centre, Acton Scott Working Farm, Clun, Stokesay, Ludlow Castle, Ludlow Racecourse, Attingham Park and Ironbridge. Shop 7 miles, pub 250 yards.

Overall the weekend was excellent, great to be able to relax with the family in a lovely location. Ideally placed for walks and getting about. It would have been good to have the hit tub ready to use the day of arrival and not have to wait 24hrs for it to get to temperature.

We had a lovely stay at Elm lodges. Lodge was clean and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Great to have some basic cleaning supplies and coffee provided. The dishwasher didn't work when we were there, Richard came out to look at it and although it couldn't be fixed and needs replacing, he did fix a few other niggles, which was good. Take some supplies with you as it is 7 mile from the nearest shop in Knighton. We visited Croft Castle, Berrington Hall,Hampton Court, Hay on Wye and the Warren whilst we were there. All are quite a distance away, but lovely places to visit - Hampton Court was our favourite. This is not the place to go if you want amenities locally. However, if you want a 'get away from it all' break, this is the place to stay.

had a great weeks stay, lodge was great, hot tub and steam room were perfect to relax in the evenings. kitchen was well stocked. didn't expect netflix so really nice sunrise, wifi was good, no phone signal but not an issue with having WiFi. shops and attractions are all a drive but was worth it for the rural views and quietness
