Everything was amazing and even better than expected. We could have lived there forever!! The owner was exceedingly kind and attentive. Gorgeous location, but everything available within a short distance. We will be back!!!

Neddy Cut is fantastic. The cottage has great architecture and a superb interior. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Outstanding location and plenty to do in the surrounding area.

A lovely modern house in peaceful surroundings. The property, inside and out, is obviously loved by the owners as it is maintained to a very high standard. EVERYTHING was wonderful and would love to return.

Neddy Cut was lovely, everything we needed was there. The beds were very comfortable and we had lovely soft towels. The owners were very helpful. It was very good that towels were provided for the hot tub. The hot tub was very nice to relax in. The surrounding country side was lovely. There are some nice walks near to Neddy Cut too. We would recommend a holiday there!

Fantastic holiday cottage, best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. Decorated and furnished & equipped to the highest standard, had everything we needed & more! The hot tub was fantastic, had one lovely clear night for star gazing. Log burner was lovely & cosy on a night. Can't recommend this cottage enough, will be back.

Absolutely Idyllic Place to Stay for Total Peace and Tranquility

We have stayed at Neddy Cut twice already this year and have provisionally booked again for next year. On both occasions that we have stayed so far, we loved everything about the property and the location. The owners Kath and John could not be more friendly, helpful and welcoming. Before our first stay Kath sent us a superb list of everthing that we needed to know about the area - local pubs, restaurants, shops, places to visit etc. etc. When we arrived Kath was there to greet us and explain where everything was. The property itself is everything that we could wish for from a rental property for 6 people - spotlessly clean, well maintained, 3 en suite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, log burning fire and a fantastic hot tub. The hot tub is really warm and does not go cold even if you stay in it for quite a while, which was a real bonus for us. It is immaculately kept and Kath and John check it every day to ensure that it stays pristine. The location is also excellent - a fairly easy 3 mile walk to Cartmel - the nearest village which has lovely shops and restaurants. However, the cottage itself is so nice you could easily stay here for a weekend and not go anywhere. It is very close to a lake with lovely views so you can go for a short walk for a few hundred yards if you just want to chill most of the time but stretch your legs. I can highly recommend Neddy Cut in every respect.

Simply Excellent

We stayed for a week with kids (Grown up) and partners. It was excellent! Superb accomodation, lovely loction especially if you enjoy walking in beautiful countryside and all from your front door. The hot tub was a particular highlight, in fact we used it every night! The owner Kath was really friendly and helpful without being in your face at all - just the right balance. Cartmel is only 3 miles drive and we had a meal in the Cavendish Arms, again I would recommend. Very good pub food. We will be going back to Neddy Cut.

Luxurious cottage holiday - recommend!

Amazing cottage. Luxurious, decorated, furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Log burner added to the cosy feeling for the evenings in. Lovely owners, friendly and helpful. Lovely welcome groceries for our arrival. Hot tub was fab! On all the time. Our parents visited & we're all really impressed. Three ensuite rooms was a bonus. The cottage is in a great location, and only a few miles from Cartmel, and about an hour away from Keswick. I will go back & recommed this holiday! Loved it.
