A quiet isolated lodge

My friend booked the lodge and as soon as we arrived I loved it. It is situated from away from Abersoch off a quiet road. Very comfortable and cozy. The heating was already on and the timer set when we arrived around 5pm.The electric heaters in the rooms do their job but it was a little cold at certain times of the day in January so there is a boost button and the heating can come on up to 2 hours. The gas fire though in the living room is very effective at heating the lodge.Unfortunately one of the heaters in the bathroom was not working but we told the owner and I am sure it will be fixed. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need so I cooked a few nights and on one night we visited the local pub and the hospitality was great and so was the food and wine. As it was quite windy we lost bbc1 temporarily so I decided to put on a dvd from the collection.Just be aware although the cases for the films were there, some actual dvds were missing. The highlight is the hot tub. Each evening we would be in it with a gin and tonic. It was so secluded. I would come back here in a heartbeat especially in the Spring or September.

Recent stay

What a fantastic week we have just had at this beautiful lodge, would highly recommend, owners Derek and Angie are fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for them.
