WOW! What an amazing stay!!

Cannot fault this cottage one bit, our stay from start to finish was faultless and just wonderful. All the small touches, from the hot tub being on to walking in to cottage to beautiful jazz, fresh eggs, bread and biscuits really just made the stay feel so very special. As well as that Alan was so lovely he greeted us with such a warm welcome and assisted us with anything we needed, we really felt that he went out of his way to make us feel at home we felt very spoilt indeed! And finally we have to say the pictures are beautiful but doesnt do the cottage justice as its even more fabulous when you see it in real life. Honestly probably one of the best stays we have ever had, thank you to Alan and family for making this stay just everything we would hope for, cannot wait to return.

Beautiful cottage

Recently returned from our 3 night midweek stay at this beautiful cottage. We were the first guests to ever stay at Over Lea Barn and how lucky we were! The photos do not do this place justice. The decor and finish to the cottage is stunning. It has everything you need plus a few extras. The log burner, the Sonos music system, the hot tub with amazing views all make this the perfect place to stay for an idyllic and peaceful break. The owners were lovely friendly people and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage backs onto fields so you always feel like you have plenty of privacy. Its in a good location close to New Mills and Hayfield and the rest of the peak district is easily accessible from here. There are lots of local pubs and restaurants to eat and drink at and the cottage feels just the right amount of rural. We could not have asked for a more relaxing few days and really felt like Over Lea Barn was a home away from home with a splash of luxury. Will definitely be returning in the future! Cannot recommend enough.
