Inside, the ground-floor hosts the bedrooms and bathrooms, making it easy to unload your bags or jump straight into bed to rest after a busy day of walking. Upstairs, gather with your loved ones for dinner; choose from a quick bite in the kitchen/diner which has been fitted with everything you could need for a self-catering stay, or the larger dining area in the living/dining room. After eating, curl up in front of the fire while you watch a film on the Smart TV, or you could relax, unwind and reflect on your day in the hot tub. When you can tear yourself away, explore the nearby Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or the popular Stiperstones village. If you want to treat your loved ones to a meal out, the nearby Bishop's Castle has a choice of pubs and eateries to choose from. Lovely large barn conversion.

Just got back after a week at Owlbury Hall Barn and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Four adults and 2 large dogs, a Great Dane and Chocolate Labrador and there was loads of room for all to spread out without tripping over each other. Had a couple of things that needed sorting out on arrival, but James resolved these issues immediately. Well appointed with kitchen equipment and utensils and a lovely big freezer. The only negative is, being a topsy turvy property, bedrooms downstairs and kitchen and huge living room upstairs, the dishwasher is downstairs in the utility room. Takes several trips up and down to do a full load. We ended up washing most stuff by hand. Hot tub outside the back was great and was used a few times. Just for information, the phone signal is very poor, verging on non existent. Can still use WhatsApp via house WiFi. TV is good with a great choice, but signal is patchy, so can disappear at times. Also, when driving up to the house from the road, use the entrance with the Owlbury Hall Barn sign on the gate. The other one has a very steep ramp with an acute angle at the top. Unless you have a 4 X 4, you will scrape the underneath of your car. Loads of parking space when you’re outside the house and a couple of lovely, large secure dog paddocks to tire your furry friends out. The house is a great base for exploring and there’s loads to do around there. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
