Holiday

Had a wonderful stay at Pheasant Lodge. We were so pleased to see a welcome pack including milk for a much needed coffee and tea after our long journey to get there. The homemade scones and jam were delicious. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub which was fabulous. We enjoyed walks through the woods and managed to see deer and squirrels. The owners Kellie and Steve were very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend a stay here.

Perfect!

We have just had the most magical stay here and will definitely be back!! Everything was just perfect. So many appreciated little touches! The mince pies were yummy, the setting was beautiful, so cosy and romantic and just a wonderful place to chill. Nearby pub serves amazing food too! Thanks so much, from Steve and Sarah

An absolutely fantastic stay at Pheasant Lodge to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday

The lodge and surrounding woodland areas were lovely and even more so in the glorious July sunshine. Steve and Kellie were wonderful and very friendly and welcoming, and even left us an amazing Victoria Sponge, fizz and birthday messages in the lodge upon arrival which was very kind of them and very much appreciated. We saw many animals also whilst staying at the lodge including sheep, deer, hares and pheasants. There is also a brilliant pub restaurant (Vintage Inns) a couple of minutes walk from the lodge with great tasting food, if you don't fancy cooking or starting up the BBQ. I cannot recommend Chapel Lodges highly enough and have already recommended to our family and friends! Will definitely look to return in the future as was very sad to leave on our final day!

Stunning location houses this fabulous lodge

This fabulous luxury lodge set in the beautiful Dorset countryside is an idyllic place to stay, relax, unwind and get back to nature. Pheasants, deer, squirrels and other wildlife are in abundance and really were a delight to watch. The hosts greeted us on arrival and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, recommending places to visit and eat. We loved the Pub at the end of the lane which served great food and took in some breathtaking sights along the Jurassic Coast. We just loved everything about this lodge; the decor and attention to detail is second to none! We relaxed in the hot tub with a glass of locally produced cider & enjoyed a slice of the gorgeous home made cake they provided; these really added that little extra something to our stay. A thoroughly decadent weekend and we’ll definitely go back in the spring to view the bluebells in the woods.

Perfect

Just had the most relaxing week here. The owners were friendly and helpful. A very nice welcome pack left. Place was immaculate with everything you need, nice touches like games and DVDs. Situated in lovely location,13 acres to explore and see plenty of wildlife. The hot tub was great,so peaceful watching the stars, playing music and a glass of bubbly, spot on. Thoroughly recommend this lodge

Little slice of heaven

This place has to be seen to be believed its so heavenly clean well maintained and i could go on we stayed a week and could have stayed longer the surrounding plot has everything you could wish for and the owners are so so nice.they go out of their way to make this place so fab. Well done. Just want to say to anyone looking just dont look book it.

A Slice of Paradise

I cannot rate these guys enough. I booked a week away at Pheasant Lodge with my girlfriend, and you can imagine what a welcome surprise it was to arrive to homemade scones, jam, clotted cream and sparkling cider! The cottage was so cosy, just small enough to keep an intimate atmosphere with plenty of space for us to cut loose. The 13 acres of land around the place was a space to simply lose yourself in. Plenty of fire pits for evening drinks and barbecues, and we even took a basket out for an afternoon picnic in the sun. There's plenty of good places to eat out, highly recommend Renoufs for a laid back evening of cheese, meat and wine, whilst The Lambs Green Inn at the end of the road is a perfect hub for classic pub grub. Also big shout outs for The Stables in Poole for their pizza and Rick Steins for high-class seafood. All in all, it was a 10 out of 10 experience, huge shout outs to the owners who were always there with a smile and a helping hand when we needed them. I could easily go back for another week, kick back in the hot tub and just enjoy the wildlife if was so picturesque. If you're wanting to find a country escape with a helpful slice of delicious local cuisine, stop looking elsewhere, you'll be hard pressed for a more perfect paradise.
