It was really comfortable, very well thought out and presented. It was very dog friendly.

A lovely quiet place with outstanding views, and a dog friendly pub within walking distance.

The views were stunning and owners were friendly and welcoming. There was lots of walks for the dog.

Sunset View is high quality accommodation, dog friendly, well equipped

The property is beautiful, and is in the middle of the countryside so there was absolutely no distractions or noise from outside. The décor was very nice, and this with the overall layout of the rooms just made you feel like you're at home.

We had a great stay at Sunset View, the property was fantastic and had everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean and had a beautiful décor. Based in a great area with plenty to do & was perfect for a relaxing getaway.

This cottage had the wow factor. It was the perfect place to stay for two and a chocolate Labrador. We couldn't have wished for a nicer holiday! The cottage and the location was a perfect 10 out of 10. We shall definitely be returning.

Wonderful views and a wonderful place. The owners were very nice and helpful. Would recommend.

It was a quirky place to stay and had everything you needed.

The location and accommodation were just perfect. This is high spec accommodation, modern, well equipped and extremely comfortable. The owners live on site and are very helpful, but give you privacy. They have decorated the accommodation beautifully. We couldn't have wished for more and wanted to stay an extra night, but it was sadly booked!

The cottage was to a very high standard and we found the owners very helpful, the enclosed garden was excellent for us to soak up the sun and relax and also keep our dog happy playing with his ball. We found some brilliant walks in the welcome pack and had excellent weather to walk some of them. The layout of the cottage is very good indeed, the entertainment equipment is also very good, for example; TV, DVD and iPod dock, we particularly liked the free WiFi broadband as we both are tech minded. Shops are near enough to walk to and Bridlington and Hornsea aren't very far by car. We had such a good holiday here that we have booked again in July.

The property was excellent, we could not fault anything. We had such a nice week here.

A beautiful property, aptly named, with wonderful views of the sunset! The accommodation was of a very high standard and close to many places of interest. An excellent place for a wonderfully relaxing holiday.

Liked the uniqueness of the property and its location. Superb area complimented by the apartment.

A lovely cottage for two with easy access by car to beaches and other attractions all within an hour or so drive. Would recommend to friends.

Sunset View is a modern, clean and comfortable place to stay with parking under cover and has good access to local attractions.

The lodge was very well laid out and exceeded our expectations. The owner was very welcoming on our arrival. There was plenty to do and visit in and around this area of Yorkshire; walking, fishing and the coast, will visit this property in the future.

The property was lovely. The views very nice through all windows. Beautiful sunrise one side and sunset the other.

Cosy and warm for a winter break in this nicely finished property. Dog friendly property with plenty of local walks.

The property was very comfortable, spotless throughout in an ideal location, lovely views and private garden. We were welcomed by the owner ,whose attention to detail was brilliant, all requirements catered for in this lovely property. I would not hesitate to recommend to friends.

The apartment lives up to its name, the sunsets from the window were fantastic. The owners have got it right, they have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and enjoy your holiday. The apartment is a credit to them. The area was perfect for dog lovers with plenty of beaches to enjoy.

The cottage was very central to a lot of places we wanted to visit, and within walking distance from the village pubs and shops.

A lovely property. Ideal for a couple. The enclosed garden is well kept and ideal for the dog. Highly recommended.

Perfect

Recently visited for a short break in Yorkshire. Really friendly owners (Ali & John), and never intrusive. Accommodation was perfect for what we needed. Had a Fridge freezer, including complimentary pint of milk for a cuppa when we arrived, kitchen had microwave, some tea, coffee, sugar, cleaning & washing up stuff, assortment of crockery, cutlery, pans, oven was a gas hob & electric oven - spotless. Availabilty of a vacuum cleaner, fans, mop&bucket, extension lead, toaster, wash-up sponge, dish-cloth & tea towel, dishwasher. Also includes a 3-seat sofa, recliner arm chair, 2-seat breakfast table, tv, bluray DVD, some DVD's, books, info leaflets, towels, slippers, drawers and hangers for clothing, washing machine, BBQ (coals & gas), enclosed garden, wifi and a couple of torches. Hot tub was excellent and used every day. Would definately recommend the lodge as a place to stay to visit the local area. Some fantastic sunsets and local walks. Local amenities and places to eat. Ideal for a short break and dog friendly.

Wow!

Both the accommodation and the welcome at this property are second to none. The apartment is airy, light, yet cosy when the weather isn't great. The view is peaceful and expansive; and as the sun sets, you can watch it disappear slowly from the comfort of a reclining chair. It is indeed Sunset Lodge. Linens and bedding are fresh and clean and the attention to every detail is comforting. Along with the quality fixtures and fittings it is the ideal base from which to explore all East Yorkshire has to offer. Whether you want to explore the heart of the countryside, or beside the sea. The beaches in Fraisthorpe and Hornsea are clean and not as busy as some of the bigger/better known towns, Allowing you and a furry friend to enjoy playtime and walks aplenty. The private and enclosed garden at the property is perfect for two in the hot-tub, or to keep your furry friend safe to explore with or without you. To end the day there are a number of eating places to choose from locally which you can enjoy either take-away, or with your pet. With a range of prices to suit every pocket. The fish and chips in Brandesburton are excellent and Berts Italian is more expensive, but beautiful quality food. Should you wish to create your own culinary masterpiece, the kitchen facilities are more than adequate. Finally, if there isn't everything you need, the owners are incredibly helpful and approachable and i wouldn't have thought twice to ask for any help/advice i needed.

Little gem of a cottage

We had a lovely week here in September, This cottage was a cracking find..Away from the hullabaloo of the campsites and only a gentle stroll to the lovely village of Brandesburton. A perfect place to unwind and re-charge your batteries. The cottage is tastefully decorated and the enclosed garden to the rear was perfect for our dog.Tea, Milk & sugar was there waiting for us when we arrived, There was even some ice cubes in the freezer, Was lovely to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun setting over the fields on an evening. A perfect base from which to explore Hull, Beverley, Hornsea and more.. hats off to the owners Ali & John, so glad we booked this one.

Perfect for two and a dog.

The property is brand new and well designed and built. It is decorated to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. The owners have thought of everything you will need even down to a good selection of DVDs. There is a good sized enclosed garden that is ideal for a dog, it was very hot when we were there and we kept the door open so that our dog could potter in and out as he pleased. If you like walking there are plenty of walks in the local area. The nearest village is Leven, and the local Costcutter has a very good range. The friendly owners live next door but leave you to your own devices. There is a laundry room on the ground floor with everything you need.
