General Info

Towyn Hall is a beautifully presented, detached cottage located in the pretty, seaside town of New Quay, in Wales, located just a few minutes walk from the beach where you can sample local eateries right on the shore front. With a modern interior, off-road parking and an enclosed patio garden to the rear, you have all you need for a well-earned, relaxing break. This is the ideal location for making the most of a family beach holiday, with wonderful opportunities to spot dolphins on organised boat trips and try a myriad of watersports. From the front entrance, you will arrive at the beautiful sitting room, which is kept warm in winter by the woodburning stove, the ideal place to unwind with a book or your favourite shows on TV. Cook up a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen to the rear of the cottage and get everyone together around the dining table in the sun room for an evening feast followed by refreshing drinks and late-night chats. Alternatively, use the dining room to the front of the cottage to spend your down time, which provides a lovely space to socialise over a bottle of wine. Upstairs is where you will find the well-presented bedrooms and family bathroom, perfect for a deep soak in the tub before getting ready for bed. There is one double room, playing host to its very own en-suite shower room, following a twin room that can be a super king room followed by a twin and a single bedroom, ideal for all sorts of groups looking to get away for a while. Choose to sit out on the patio on a warm summer's evening with a drink, and when the sun goes in, light a fire and keep cosy as you make the most of this pleasant setting. Head into town to find a range of shops, pubs and eateries and enjoy the breath-taking views as you stroll along the waterfront. Journey on one of the boat trips for an adventure on the sea, spotting dolphins, seals and all kinds of rare birds flying overhead. Try out sailing or kayaking and enjoy many day trips to the surrounding beaches, the National Trust's Penbryn or find yourselves exploring the glorious landscape scenery over the Preseli Hills. A short walk to Foel Eryr offers its 360-degree panorama, with views across the sea to Ireland and Snowdonia on a clear day. We have just come back from a very enjoyable stay at towyn hall newquay wales. Ruth and Terry greeted us with a lovely chocolate cake, wine, tea, coffee on arrival. It wasn't until later that I noticed the lovely roses on the dining room table. The decor is really nice with home comforts, the kitchen has a lovely big fridge freezer and all the cooking utensils that you need. The hot tub was a added bonus after a days walking (being a dog owner) we do a lot of walking. It is conveniently situated to walk into Newquay but is a little steep returning on a road with pavements most of the way. The Italian called Rossini was certainly worth a visit and being pet friendly as well as being able to take your own wine.

Amazing home from home holiday in a wonderful location. Furnished to a high standard, walking distance to town.

We were holidaying with our son aged 19 and daughter who is 17. This holiday home is in a fantastic location. It's furnished to a high standard and is very comfortable. From the moment we stepped through the front door we felt like we were home. The hosts are so accommodating and left us tea, coffee, sugar, wine and the most amazing homemade chocolate cake. They really have thought of everything and have a great knowledge of the local area, which was handy as we had never been to this part of Wales before. Our evenings were spent in the garden enjoying the hot tub and just taking in all the lovely birds that visit the garden. The local area is very pretty and the beaches are just beautiful, we were lucky to see the dolphins down at New Quay beach which was a delight to see. Our favourite was Penbryn which is a short drive away but huge and great for body boarding. It has a lovely cafe serving fare priced lunch type meals which was great for a pit stop. We were very lucky to have glorious weather which meant we spent most of our time on the local beaches, we will definitely recommend this area and Towyn Hall to our friends and family. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
