Just over half a mile away lies Traeth Porth Wen Beach, a fascinating hidden cove that is reached by a steep descent but offers an insight into the Victorian brickworks built during WW2. Further beach delights can be found along the coast including Traeth Mawr Big Beach, Porth Padrig and Traeth Porth Wen Beach, three splendid locations to relax, paddle the shores or try your hand at a range of watersports! Wander along the Anglesey AONB, a walker’s paradise where you can follow the beautiful coastline and appreciate this rugged Isle. Futher afield, spend some time in Beaumaris, visting the quirky independent shops and eateries, before capturing a picture of the iconic Menai Suspension Bridge. Wonderful getaway holiday cottage

This is a wonderful holiday cottage. Sleeps 8, but is compact and cosy, with all the amenities you could ask for. The hot tub is a real plus when it's been a cold, hard day! Our welcome package was really appreciated, and unexpected. Nice little garden for our dog, Cass, to play in. Well situated for Cemaes Bay and Amlwch, although parking prices at Cemaes Bay stopped us from going there again - £4, whether for the day or just half an hour on the beach! There were tea, sugar and coffee, salt and pepper and a few other condiments left in the cottage. We mostly ate in, so had taken most of the things we needed. All in all, the perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Would recommend it, 15 out of 10!
