Reviews

Absolutely perfect.

We decided to book a little break away once the lockdown restrictions had been lifted to have a bit of change of scenery. We came across Woodland Loge and it looked perfect for what we wanted. Well it was even better that what we imagined, the grounds it is set in are beautiful, the owners were absolutely amazing and the lodge itself was stunning, the pictures don't do it justice. It's much bigger than it looks in the photos but still has a lovely cosy feel to it. The kitchen has plenty of utensils which was handy as we took everything with us to make a Sunday roast. The owners had also left bread, milk, jam, butter and tea coffee which was a lovely touch. All in all, if you are thinking of booking it get it done, you won't regret it. Thank you again Jo and Ian! x

Wonderful!

Beautiful property which is much bigger than we expected. The garden is private and the hot tub with fairy lights is lovely. Perfect location for dog walks. Owners are really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing romantic break.

Fab holiday!

When we first saw this property advertised, it had no previous reviews but the pictures (which do no justice to how beautiful it really is) sold it to us. Upon arrival we were greeted by owners Ian and Jo, who welcomed us and our two dogs like we were old friends. The property itself is simply stunning. Set in quiet countryside, it is full of character and charm with beams and old stone features. It has been beautifully converted, furnished well and decorated very tastefully. The private garden with hot tub is perfect. The relaxing atmosphere of Woodland Lodge made it the most pleasant holiday for us to unwind. We will definitely be returning.
